A fictional hotel, thoughtfully imagined
The Old TerminusPlan a stay

Slow days

A few ideas.
Nothing compulsory.

These are little outlines for an imagined stay. Borrow a morning, keep an afternoon empty, change your mind when it rains.

A day outside

Follow the light.

For the day when the clouds lift and your shoes want to be useful.

A slow breakfast

Bread, a warm plate and a second look at the sky. Breakfast is included in the sample room price.

The woodland loop

Imagine an hour on the maintained woodland path. This is a story for your plan, not a verified route or walking instruction.

Tea, then the bridge view

Return for optional cake and tea. Later, look across to the stone arches from the grounds, without going onto the bridge.

Back to the fireside

Add the sample supper to your plan, or leave the evening open. Not every hour needs an appointment.

A rainy day

Let it rain.

There are worse things than a whole afternoon with nowhere to be.

The late breakfast

The fictional breakfast window runs until 10:30. A book at the table is a perfectly reasonable companion.

The window seat

Open the book you packed and have not yet opened. The room comparison can help you choose more space for a day indoors.

Cake under the canopy

In the imagined station, rain can be heard without being worn. Or keep the chair inside the waiting room.

One more chapter

A quiet evening by the fire is part of the shared-space concept, with no separate sample charge.

Two nights away

Leave tomorrow open.

A small stay that does not try to fit a whole holiday into forty-eight hours.

Arrive and unpack

Choose your room, put your bag down and find the waiting room. Optional cake belongs to one afternoon, not every night.

One idea is enough

Woodland morning if the weather is kind; the reading shelf if it is not. Add either or both ideas to the planner at no sample cost.

Breakfast, then slowly away

The example plan ends after your selected nights. There are no real arrival dates, check-out deadlines or transport connections to miss.

Tea and cake in a warm waiting-room lounge with oak tables and a wood fire.

The useful part of doing less

Make a plan.
Leave room in it.

The stay planner brings together your room, length of stay and optional meals. Woodland, bridge-view and reading ideas are free-form additions with no extra cost in the example. They do not reserve an activity.
