Good to know
A few things
before you settle in.
The practical notes matter, even for an imagined hotel. Here is exactly what this website can do, and what would need a real operator.
Can I book a real stay?
No. The Old Terminus is a fictional design showcase. The planner prepares an example on your device. It does not check dates, contact a hotel, hold a room, take money or create a reservation.
Where is the station?
In an imagined landscape of wooded hills and a disused railway line. There is no real street address or map pin. The stone bridge, grounds and views are part of the creative concept. Please do not use this site for travel directions.
What does the example price include?
The selected room for one to seven nights, within its stated occupancy, with breakfast. Cake and tea cost €12 per guest once per stay; supper costs €34 per guest for every night. There are no additional modelled taxes or fees. These are illustrative EUR totals, not an offer from an operating hotel.
Is there step-free access?
Unknown. The architectural concept includes an upstairs suite and carriage boarding steps. No accessible-room, path-width, bathroom, lift or transport provision has been verified. A real operator would need to provide exact information before anyone could rely on it.
What about allergies, children or pets?
Dietary arrangements, age policies, pets and service provisions are not established. The demonstration does not collect this information. A real hotel would need published policies and a safe way to discuss individual requirements.
Where is my plan saved?
Ordinary selections stay in this browser tab using session storage. “Save on this device” also writes a copy to local storage in this browser. It is not a cloud backup. Reset removes both copies. You can download the current selection as a plain-text plan. Your browser may restrict storage or downloads.
Does the station have a real history?
The former-station premise is fictional. No opening date, famous passenger, heritage listing, award, restoration certificate or real operator is claimed. The original generated images are design visualisations, not photographs of a bookable property.
An arrival note
No journey required.
Just a little curiosity.
Walk through the room pages, explore the station map and make a sample stay. Everything is designed to be considered rather than committed to. There is no booking form hidden at the end.
Fictional contact example: hello@example.com. No messages are sent here. Address: an imagined forest-edge station, with no real location.
